Earthy rich figs and creamy gorgonzola combined with crunchy walnut pieces and finished in a luxurious drizzle of truffle honey.
INGREDIENTS
- 3 FIGS
- 50G GORGONZOLA
- DRIZZLE OF TRUFFLE OIL
- 2 TBSP RUNNY HONEY
- 1 TBSP WALNUTS ROUGHLY CHOPPED
- 4 SLICES OF ITALIAN CIABATTA BREAD
TO SERVE:
A HANDFUL OF CHOPPED FRESH THYME
HOW TO MAKE FIG & GORGONZOLA WITH TRUFFLE HONEY
- COMBINE THE TRUFFLE OIL AND HONEY IN A SMALL BOWL AND SET ASIDE.
- LIGHTLY TOAST THE SLICED BREAD.
- SLICE THE FIGS AND CRUMBLE THE GORGONZOLA OVER THEM.
- SPRINKLE WITH THE WALNUTS AND THYME OVER THEM. FINISH WITH A DRIZZLE OF TRUFFLE HONEY.
- SERVE WITH A CON LIMONE GIN & TONIC.
